Aspire Gymnastics' Story
Elke Vinck did not set out to build one of Dubai's largest gymnastics clubs. She was simply a mother looking for better gymnastics coaching for her own children. A casual chat with their coach sparked a practical idea: installing a bar in her garden and hiring a personal coach. Another chat a few months later led to a casual business plan, a list of essential equipment, and a shared vision. Driven by the desire to provide better training for their own children and a few others, Elke and her husband decided to take the plunge.
Aspire Gymnastics Dubai grew from that simple beginning into a multi-branch enterprise. "I never envisioned Aspire becoming a multi-branch enterprise with over 1,800 students," Elke says. "But here we are." Her approach throughout has been to go with the growth rather than plan it: responding to demand, adding locations, expanding the coaching team, and finding ways to make the operation work at each new scale. Gymnastics was always the easy part. The administration was what required solving.
Looking back, Elke acknowledges the importance of embracing technology early on. "Implementing Classcard after years of manual operations was a significant undertaking, but the benefits were undeniable." The decision to change was driven by the clear gap between what the manual systems demanded and what the team's time was worth.
How Aspire Gymnastics Uses Classcard
1,800 students. One platform.
1,800 students, across multiple branches, all managed through Classcard. For a club that started with a garden bar and some gymnastics equipment, that number represents extraordinary growth. What makes it operationally remarkable is that it is managed without the administrative collapse that manual systems would have produced at this scale.
An estimated 12 hours per week returned
Multi-branch gymnastics at 1,800 students, previously managed on paper and Excel, was consuming a significant portion of the team's time every week. Classcard reclaimed those hours. For Elke and her coaching team, that time goes back into program development, student experience, and the work of growing a gymnastics club rather than administering one.
Multi-branch management without multi-branch complexity
Running three or more locations simultaneously means managing multiple coaching teams, multiple schedules, and multiple student populations. Classcard handles that complexity without requiring a proportional increase in administrative staff or effort. Each branch operates within the same system, with its own schedule and coach roster visible alongside the rest of the club's operations.
