How does Classcard’s pricing work?
The free version of Classcard is available for teams up to 2 staff members — servicing any number of students. You can always upgrade to the 'pro' plan to collaborate with unlimited staff members.
For our paid plans you are only charged for the number of staff members in your team. Should you add a staff member in the month, we will only charge you a pro-rata value and not the whole amount.
Who's a staff member?
A staff member represents a 'seat' for computing your subscription charge. A staff member includes both teaching or non-teaching staff.
A non-teaching staff would usually include administrators or front office staff.
How does the 5% + 30¢ transaction fee work? When do I get paid?
Should you choose to accept online payments using Classcard's payment gateway (we run on Stripe). We charge you 5% + 30¢ for every transaction. In case you are integrating with a payment gateway, you do not have to pay any transaction fee to Classcard.
You are paid at the end of each month, after reducing the 5% + 30¢ transaction fee — for all the transactions in that month. However, we are working on reducing this time lag.
What does a 'branch' stand for?
A branch is another name for a Classcard workspace. While adding a branch – a whole new workspace is created – which is linked to the original workspace.
Each branch has its own settings, like currency, address, online booking page... It is not to be mistaken for a location. Unlimited locations, like classrooms, pitches, courts etc. can be added without the need to create new branches.
What forms of payment do you accept?
You can purchase Classcard with any major credit card. For annual subscriptions, we can issue an invoice payable by bank transfer or check.

Monthly purchases must be paid for by credit card.
How secure is Classcard?
Protecting the data you trust to Classcard is our first priority. Classcard uses physical, procedural, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your information.
We regularly back up your data to prevent data loss and aid in recovery.
