Starting off as just a one-bed physiotherapy clinic, to growing into multiple stand-alone facilities pan Mumbai. And having treated 10,000+ patients and 50+ olympic and elite athletes; you are sure to have heard the name H.E.A.L being tossed around, even if you are a wee bit into fitness (and in Mumbai).
Without and further ado, I'm thrilled to share our conversation with Mrs. Namita Ambani, CEO & Director H.E.A.L Institute.
What was your background before you started the business? Basically, how did you get into the business?
I started my career as a marketer and spent around four years in the retail industry. During a sabbatical, I launched an organic food brand and an educational brand. I was looking for a complete change when I got an opportunity to work in the healthcare industry. With the Heal Institute, I conceptualised many business ideas.
The Heal Institute is known for promoting health and an active lifestyle and aims to become a name synonymous with pain management and relief in India.
Describe your business tweet style (280 characters or less)?
We educate the masses on lifestyle changes and their physical pains; and motivate them to achieve their fitness goals.
What according to you, separates you from your competitors?
Firstly, our therapists and their years of experience. We constantly strive to keep them up to date with most recent research work and training programs in collaboration with local and international experts. Secondly, manual therapy. Our staff our amongst the best when it comes to manual therapy and deep tissue therapy.
How do you foresee the next 10 years in your business?
Franchising. This will play a major role in expanding pan India and other countries. Our business model is well set for a medium to high-end recovery and fitness center.

How do you measure and celebrate success at work? 🎉
At the end of the day when most of the tasks are checked marked, that's when I feel we are heading in the right direction. Bonus is when I end up adding more completed tasks in the list.
