Classcard charges a flat monthly fee for the platform, plus a small fee on payments you process through it. There is no per student charge and no cap on how many people you add. This page explains what each plan costs, what the processing rates are, and how to work out which plan fits.

What you actually pay for

Your bill has two parts.

The first is your plan. That is a flat monthly or annual fee that covers the software: scheduling, enrolment, attendance, billing, parent communication, reporting, and the staff and student apps. It does not change as you grow.

The second is payment processing. When a family pays you through Classcard, a percentage of that payment covers the cost of accepting the card or bank transfer. You only pay it on money you actually collect. Rates vary by country and are listed further down.

The four plans

Every plan includes unlimited staff and unlimited students. You are never charged for adding a coach or enrolling another child.

Starter, $99 per month. For independent instructors and small studios. Includes 20 GB of file storage and all the essential features: scheduling, online booking, attendance, invoicing, lead management, custom forms, reporting, and the web, iOS and Android apps.

Growth, $199 per month. For growing academies that need automation. Everything in Starter, plus 100 GB storage, AI assistance and dashboards, recurring billing and installments, single step automations, accounting and buy now pay later integrations, customer segments, and credit notes.

Business, $349 per month. For multi location teams at scale. Everything in Growth, plus 1,000 GB storage, multi step automations, the AI chatbot, gift cards, conditional form inputs, and single sign on.

Enterprise, custom pricing. Everything in Business, plus the option to bring your own payment gateway, custom payment integrations, a dedicated account manager, individualised onboarding, and priority support.

Most academies land on Growth. The jump from Starter is usually driven by one thing: wanting billing and reminders to run without someone chasing them.

Monthly or annual billing

Pay annually and you get two months free. That works out as follows.

Starter is $990 a year, which is $83 a month. Growth is $1,990 a year, or $166 a month. Business is $3,490 a year, or $291 a month. Enterprise is annual billing only.

You can switch plans whenever you want. Upgrades take effect straight away and the difference is prorated across the rest of your cycle. Downgrades start at your next billing period, and you keep your current features until then.

Payment processing rates

Processing fees cover the cost of accepting a payment. Rates depend on where your business is based, and the available methods differ by country. These are the United States rates.

Domestic card payments are 2.9% plus $0.30. International cards are 3.9% plus $0.30. ACH direct debit is 0.8%, capped at $5, which makes it the cheapest way to collect recurring term fees.

The United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong have their own rates and their own local methods, including Bacs in the UK and BECS in Australia. The pricing page shows the rates for your region automatically. On Enterprise you can bring your own gateway and pay its rates directly.

Academies in the UAE are on a separate plan structure with zero Classcard fees on payments.

Add-ons

Two things sit outside the plan fee.

Staff pay run and check in, $5 per staff member per month. Tracks staff hours from check in and check out, then calculates what each person is owed. Available on every plan.

Branded apps, $249 per month. Your own app on the iOS and Android stores under your academy name rather than the Classcard app. Available on Growth, Business and Enterprise.

Why flat pricing matters as you grow

Most class management platforms charge by student count, by staff seat, or by taking a percentage of your revenue. That means your software bill rises every time you succeed at enrolling someone.

A studio on a per student plan at $2 a head pays $200 a month at 100 students and $600 at 300. On Classcard the plan fee is the same at both numbers. The point at which flat pricing wins depends on your average class size, but for most academies it happens somewhere around 70 to 100 students.

The same applies to staff. Adding three part time coaches for a busy term costs nothing extra.

Which plan should you pick

Start with Starter if you are teaching solo or running one small studio, and you mainly need scheduling, bookings and invoices in one place.

Pick Growth if you want billing to run itself. Recurring charges, installment plans, automated reminders and accounting sync are the features people move up for.

Pick Business if you run more than one location, need multi step workflows, or want single sign on for a larger staff team.

Talk to us about Enterprise if you need your own payment gateway or a dedicated manager.

Every plan comes with a 7 day free trial and no credit card is required to start. See current pricing for the live figures in your region, or book a demo if you want a walkthrough first.
